That is the title of a new book with a subhead that says ”How the rich can save the world.”
The book is written by Matthew Bishop and Michael Green. The feeling and tonality of the book is so 2006.
Another shoe to drop now in this broken economy value chain is that as wealth is taken from balance sheets of individuals, charitable giving will suffer dramatically.
I know locally that many charities are in a panic as donors can’t complete their pledges from past years and new pledges are dwindling.
As I noted, this economy is an equal opportunity value destroyer.
Maybe this isn’t a recession? Perhaps we will soon start to call it a depression?
