Madonna. Super Bowl halftime show!
What did you think?
Here is a film on her life and times on SnagFilms. Enjoy. She sure has been a part of the soundtrack of our lives now for a long, long time. Thank you.
THAT was a powerful ad during the Super Bowl with Clint Eastwood, wasn’t it?
Chrysler is doing great work with very smart marketing and great positioning. It is “Halftime for America.”
In the small world department, last week we held an offsite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown. As I was walking into the lobby, who did I see? Clint Eastwood!
I wasn’t shy. I walked up to him and introduced myself. We talked for a few moments about filmmaking and I, of course, gave a plug for SnagFilms. He is a giant and a living legend and he talks just like he talks in the ad and in his films! Too cool.
Here is a film on SnagFilms.com about Detroit in celebration of Black History Month. Click here to watch. Thank you.

SnagFilms already has more than 20 films in its library that have won or been nominated for an award at the Sundance Film Festival. As this year’s Sundance Film Festival comes to a close, SnagFilms announced the acquisition of another Sundance award winner (in 2011) — “Kinyarwanda.” This incredible film is based on true accounts of the Rwandan genocide. A powerful story, well told. Roger Ebert gave it four stars and listed it as #6 in his top 20 films of 2011. It was also recently nominated for three NAACP Image Awards. Look for it on cable video on demand and online pay-on-demand platforms in the coming months from SnagFilms. Read more here.
Wow; we blush; what great positioning for SnagFilms. Click here to read this analysis of our activities. Thanks.
Released to Life.
The first winner of the Washington’s Best Film Competition, a contest co-sponsored by the Mayor’s office and SnagFilms.
We are proud of all of the work we received and very proud of the filmmakers who won for a very moving 16 minute documentary film called Released to Life.
The student filmmakers are all from George Washington University.
Today we all attend an event with Mayor Gray, the President of George Washington University, my friend Frank Sesno and hundreds of other local VIP’s to view the film and discuss filmmaking here in the Nation’s Capital.
Here is the film in its entirety on SnagFilms.com plus a news release and credits for the winning documentary.
