Fallon

Growing up in Brooklyn, I played a lot of basketball. My favorite teammate was Kevin Fallon. He was big, strong and could shoot. He also served as a big brother to me keeping me out of trouble. We became the best of friends.

He graduated from Fordham University. He then came to work with us at Redgate and then AOL.

He is now a retired man living on a pension. :-)

He introduced me to his cousin Jimmy Fallon a long time ago. I then met Jimmy at the Live 8 concert that we produced at AOL in London. We had a nice long chat - this time as adults deep into our careers.

We reminisced and I remember thinking that this young man was really talented and betting that one day he would be considered a hyphenate, comedian-musician-talk show host-actor. I predicted to my family big things for Jimmy Fallon.

I today saw this clip with Justin Timberlake. It is really funny. It showcases Jimmy’s many talents. I also believe his Mick Jagger impersonation is best ever.

“In My Day We Have Phone Book – NOT Facebook”

Betty White killed it. Click here for her monologue on SNL.

Some of what she says is genius about Facebook.

WWBWD - What Would Betty White Do?!

I feel like I don’t use Facebook the right way and for that I feel old and bad.

She has me thinking…

By the way, check out the Betty White muffin skit. It’s a new classic like the Schwetty Balls skit with Alec Baldwin several years ago.
