A Tiny Thrill

I went into my local Books-A-Million store in Mclean, Virginia over the weekend.

They had a book display up front that said “Best Father’s Day Gift ideas”… and the lead book they displayed was “The Business of Happiness.”

I was honored and the store manager came up to me and said “your book is still selling well. We sell 15 to 20 copies every week.”

Thank you all.

Here is the link for my book on Amazon.com.

Order the book as a gift today for Father’s Day. The book can be delivered on time.

All my proceeds from the book will be donated to the DC Central Kitchen charity here in Washington DC.

Internet Makes You Happy!

See what I mean?

Here is a great article in Time Magazine based on a scientific study regarding Happiness and Internet usage.

I agree that communities of interest are activated. The Internet allows you to get with the “We” and out of the “I”. It allows you to self express and to volunteer and give back.

Enjoy this article and then read my book “The Business of Happiness”. We are on the same wave length!

Thank You C-SPAN

C-SPAN conducted a long interview with me last month and it ran last night.

I thought it was an honor to be interviewed by C-SPAN’s founder and CEO Brian Lamb.

I also thank them so much for positively promoting my book “The Business of Happiness.” You can buy the book here from Amazon.com.

C-SPAN is a wonderful media outlet. Here is their web site and some more info on the interview. Thank you so much.

Humbled and Happy

I am so happy that so many friends have bought my book “The Business of Happiness.”

I have been doing book signings all over town and it is always great to see so many friends and make new friends, too.

The book signing at Verizon Center was awesome. I signed almost 500 books in one hour. We will schedule a book signing at Kettler Capitals Iceplex soon as well. Stay tuned for details.

I love when I meet people in the corridor at Verizon Center or in the store and they ask me to sign the book. I am humbled and happy to do so.

The book sold very well. It continues to do well in local book stores. In fact in DC and Northern Va. It is considered a “best seller.”

For your convenience, here is a link to Amazon should you want to buy it. It is also available at Verizon Center, at Kettler and at all local book stores.

I look forward to signing a copy for you soon.
