US Open Is On

It is always an exciting tennis tournament in a great venue.

Here is a fantastic new film called Unstrung. This film will get you in the tennis mood.

It is about young players striving to make it.

Under a microscope with several tennis legends lending their name and voices to this project.

Just a fantastic film. If you love tennis you will love this film! Check it out. Click here on SnagFilms.com.

An Amazing Scene

It is true.

No electronic devices in any way, shape or form at the US Open.

Not allowed. It is Heaven.

We are NOT head down nation here this weekend.

You see people’s eyes.

They all watch the sport.

No sounds of beeping.

It is weird – like aliens stole our stuff!

We don’t know what to do.

I like it.

I am blogging now but will be walking the course later!

This is a pitch perfect story in the Washington Post. Read this one.

Biggest and Best Start-up Ever

This is important.

This is big news.

A major new enterprise has opened up here in Potomac.

It is well financed and has the “best and brightest” working for it.

It is family owned and operated.

I expect BIG things from this one. Buy in now if you can.

I present to you “The Fernandez Hydration Technology Corporation” – expect the IPO in 2012.

Great Interactive Feature

I am a member of Congressional Country Club. I live with my family in Potomac, Maryland. About three miles from the club.

I am fortunate that I have played the golf course many times at Congressional and am looking forward to walking the grounds at the US Open starting later this week. The best players in the world will be here as well as media and 50,000 visitors.

The Washington Post has created an interactive 18 hole feature of the course. Click here. It is terrific for those of you who want to see what the players will face during the tournament.

Winning Begets Winning and Losing Begets Losing…

Has Federer lost it? Ever since the start of the year and his battles with mono, he hasn’t been his once dominating self. Losing in the Olympics to James Blake doesn’t auger well for his play in the upcoming US Open. Nadal seems to have psyched him out and is now the king of all of tennis. The King is dead…long live the King!
