Thank you Caps fans for helping the team power though a great 2 to 1 win last evening.
It was a great game – a game so good it actually lasted 60 minutes and 5 seconds long; see this note here on the issue with the clock at the end of the game.
Our goal tending was really superb last night – stating the obvious.
We scored on a power play, and we win the game. In the playoffs – special teams really are a key differential; Alex Semin’s shot and his on ice awareness using a Bruin’s D man as a screen was very special. That was the game winner.
The series is knotted at 2 to 2. Each and every game is tight and has had a one goal differential. It ain’t easy for either side – so as I have noted before – “no one knows nothing”.
It is now down to a best of three series – aren’t the NHL playoffs great to watch as a fan?
We move forward to Saturday and Sunday – back to back games.
We will see you all – back at home at Verizon Center – on Sunday – Go Caps! The energy you provide our team is beyond compare. Thank you again!
